(Hurrah for new PhotoPlus edition But USB mouse broke a while back, so this took a longer time by annoying laptop touchpad!)
Please note - As with all my digital work, something about weird computer-y contrast and brightness and displays means that any work I do on my new computer (similar to old one) goes all kerflooey when I transfer it onto the old home computer (to upload - damn you AOL!). If the colour looks all nasty and saturated, please try to imagine it looking relatively normal. Or I shall cry.

It feels rather weird to be posting something here, as it's been such a long time! Didn't intentionally mean to start drawing and the such when I did this piece, but got sudden mad inspiration from a flatmate out of the blue. Suddenly forgot entire day's plans and sat at my desk for about 8 hours solid, manically sketching It was very fun and lasted all week. By the time I came out of my room properly after a few days, it was mad and paper and pencils were absolutely EVERYwhere! It's very odd how, when you intentionally sit down and try to create something, it's like it feels a million times harder and frustrating, but when there's random inspiration things work and it's just such a release. But this was something I wanted to do after looking through the stuff, for a few reasons.
Firstly, congrats to a friend (Sophie) who is now engaged to her really wonderful girlfriend. I shall pretend not to be envious. So that got me in a rather happily romantical mood, particularly as a rather awkward 'friendship' with someone had just ended, so I could stop feeling so crappy and move on with everything.
And secondly, I also dedicate this to many endlessly boring Hellenistic History lectures, without which I would not have had so much day-dreaming-time to dedicate to lovely 'inspirational' fantasies of marrying Keira Knightley. Thank you, dear lecturer, for being so very, very boring.

Background is an edited photograph of Washington Monument, Washington, D.C. Apologies if this is copyrighted; I cannot find the original photo. This piece may be updated, if I can be bothered to finish the background. Likelihood is, this shall never happen.
Characters; Rose & Annabelle owned by moi, of course Was much fun to draw Rose without her insane rainbow-hair extensions and hippy tie-dye stuff, and to have Anna wearing something vaguely feminine. It gave me a chance to be very girly!
I shall not even comment on the drawing least I cry.. However, blue dress (Annabelle?) seems very possessive - it's cute. Great Picture! *sung that at the screen for some reason @_@ <
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Project Comment is a project that features the generally obscured and underappreciated artists and their art in regular news articles. Our objective is to recognise deviants who deserve more recognition and to feature deviations with less than 10 original comments.
The 0-5 Comments Issues feature a deviant as well as 3 deviations with less than 5 original comments from a wide selection of art. Please give your time to this article and to write constructive comments so that you make a true difference to the artists featured here.
